What this website collects
The public pages can be read without an account. The Number Studio, Participation Planner and Resource Finder work in your browser. They do not request learner identities or send classroom plans to the server. Filter terms appear in the URL so you can share a selection.
When you send an enquiry
The website collects your name, email address, enquiry category, message and, if supplied, organisation. These details are used by the site editor to review and respond to your enquiry. They are saved in a private inbox on this website’s hosting service. The form does not email Dr Sako or automatically forward your message to Funda Wande.
Enquiries are removed from the website inbox after 90 days, or earlier when deleted by the editor. Do not include learner names, medical information or confidential records. If you need a record corrected or removed, send a message with the category “Website and accessibility”, identifying the original message without adding unnecessary personal details.
Hosting and security
Render hosts the website in Frankfurt, Germany. This involves processing outside South Africa. Its infrastructure processes connection information needed to serve and protect the site. Application logs do not intentionally record form contents. Temporary rate-limit counters use a hashed connection identifier and expire automatically. Enquiry files and content updates use the service’s persistent disk; administrative access requires a password and a signed session.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising trackers or visitor analytics. A necessary, same-site session cookie is set only when the editor signs in; it expires after eight hours. Public learning activities do not set cookies. Fonts and photographs are served from this site.
