A question to guide the reading

What makes the integration of inclusive practices a question for TVET colleges?

The problem the study addresses

Read the opening as a statement of the research problem, rather than a description of every college today. The concern is the distance between commitments to inclusion and the practical conditions through which students with disabilities can access and participate in vocational learning.

A question with several connected parts

The inquiry asks about inclusive practices, diverse learning needs, barriers, curriculum measures and the development of a model. Keep these questions together: access to a college, access to a course and participation in the learning activity are related concerns, but they are not interchangeable.

How the thesis will proceed

The chapter previews the case-study approach, evidence sources, trustworthiness and ethics. It prepares the reader to inspect the later methods chapter and to judge findings within their research context. A good first reading ends with a clear question and a clear boundary, rather than a claim about national prevalence.

Keep the scope visible.

This chapter establishes the context of a thesis issued in 2020. Its historical policy discussion should not be used as a current legal or institutional status report.
